Working with TRIP, and with cooperation from Virginia’s Department of Transportation, VTCA and TRIP held a virtual news conference this morning, to release a new Virginia report. The report, “Keeping Virginia Mobile: Providing a Modern, Sustainable Transportation System in the Old Dominion State” examines Virginia’s road and bridge conditions, congestion, traffic safety, economic development, and projects and programs completed or underway to improve the transportation system. In addition to statewide data, the report includes regional breakdowns for the Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Richmond, and Roanoke areas. Further details, including links to view the virtual news conference, can be found in the media advisory posted on TRIP’s website.
TRIP Virginia report and materials are available for viewing along with a recording of the virtual news conference. The news release has links to allow posting to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, or to email a link to the document. TRIP will be posting the report on social media as news coverage is tracked.
VTCA will be sending this report to all candidates (incumbents and challengers) running for the Virginia Legislature.
