Individual Safety Award Presented to Virginia Vermiculite Miner

Virginia Energy and VTCA recognized a Virginia Vermiculite miner who has worked safely on the job for 25 years! Carlos Evans has spent all 25 years with VA Vermiculite working in many capacities. Carlos, VA Vermiculite, Virginia Energy and VTCA were treated to a picture-perfect late summer day in Louisa, VA and enjoyed a great barbeque lunch.  

Individual employee safety awards are presented to persons who reach 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, or 45 or more consecutive years in the mining industry without a lost time injury during the calendar year. All individual award winners will receive a certificate acknowledging their achievement.
